Abstract: Join Kanan Dhru from The Hague University and Convergence Centre for Law, Design and Tech in the Netherlands and RCLC’s own Camilla Andersen as they share their work in visual law, and explore how this has impacted contracting and beyond – and what it can do for construction law. With the experience of executing a large-scale public-private partnership on visual law to simplify election laws in India to studying legal innovations across 68 countries for The Hague Institute for Innovation of Law, Kanan will share her insights on ‘what works’ to make visual law sustainable and scalable. Camilla will be sharing various exemplars from her 10 years designing comic contracts, from PDS contracts for banking, to agreements for a light construction platform, and various specialised industries. Together, they will tailor examples for audience requests, and be on hand to answer questions.
